Role Description

This role is a pivotal part of delivering seamless employee benefits solutions for clients, from project kickoff to operational handoff. You will lead the implementation of complex benefit plans, ensuring adoption, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Acting as the primary point of contact during onboarding, you will coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to drive operational readiness. The position offers the chance to manage multiple projects, identify process improvements, and support client growth opportunities. Success in this role directly impacts client experience, operational efficiency, and the long-term success of implemented programs. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly client-focused, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving.

  • Lead the execution of implementation projects, managing all phases from kickoff to operational handoff.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during onboarding, guiding them through operational setup, training, and change management.
  • Develop and ensure alignment on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enabling internal teams and offshore staff to execute efficiently.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Proactively manage project scope, identify risks, and resolve issues to maintain implementation momentum.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, training materials, and delivery assets to support consistent and high-quality client experiences.
  • Identify potential client needs or expansion opportunities during implementation and communicate these to account management teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a client-facing implementation consultant, project manager, or technical onboarding professional.
  • Direct experience in Employee Benefits insurance, including plan administration, client servicing, and carrier coordination.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, capable of managing complex B2B projects with multiple moving parts.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to train diverse stakeholders, build trust, and manage expectations.
  • Collaborative mindset to balance client demands with internal operational priorities.
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Preferred: Relevant insurance industry certifications, PMP or other project management certification, and experience working with global or offshore teams.
