We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Medical Virtual Assistant to join our growing team. In this remote position, you will provide critical administrative support to our healthcare professionals and patients, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
- Assist patients via phone calls and respond to all chat inquiries.
- Draft and send emails to patients with appointment reminders, test results, or other relevant information.
- Answer patient calls professionally, addressing basic inquiries and directing complex issues to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to pharmacies and other healthcare offices as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable answering non-clinical medical questions.
- Willing and able to work US hours.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing priorities.
- A positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively in a remote work environment.
