• Support advanced development, engineering, and support of the DCN • Consult and advise AO, DTS, and local court IT staff on critical IT network architecture decisions and issues by conducting industry research, performing Analysis of Alternatives studies • Create, maintain, and update deliverables including Network Requirements Documents, Network Topology Diagrams, Network Design Documents, Capacity Planning Analyses, and Quality of Service (QoS) Design Specifications • Design end-to-end enterprise network architectures (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center, cloud, and edge) • Define network standards, reference architectures, and design patterns • Lead network segmentation, zero-trust, and defense-in-depth strategies • Architect high-availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency solutions • Lead SD-WAN, cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect), and network transformation initiatives • Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors; perform technical trade studies • Develop long-term network roadmaps aligned with business and security objectives • Support legacy network migration and technical debt reduction • Integrate security controls including firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS security, and network monitoring • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on compliance (FISMA, NIST, Zero Trust) • Ensure architectures meet audit, compliance, and accreditation requirements
