• responsible for operations management, safety, financial and customer relations for one or more customers with multiple warehouse locations. • responsible for ensuring LEAN and Continuous Improvement deployment for assigned accounts and expanding business with current customers. • participates in business development activities with new customers. • manage operating revenue for multiple logistics/warehouse operations. • additional areas of responsibility may include transportation, packaging and/or reverse logistics. • responsible for leading, guiding, training and directing location managers at assigned accounts. • build and maintain relationships with customer(s). • represent Ryder in customer meetings and presentations. • forecast, plan, manage and ensure assigned accounts meet defined financial targets. • develop and implement mitigation plans as necessary. • manage operations to meet or exceed internal and external Key Performance Indicators(KPIs). • implement mitigation plans if necessary. • lead account(s) during peak seasons, special projects, and implementations. • identify expansion opportunities with current customer(s).
