What You’ll Do

- Qualify leads and manage a sales territory with a defined quota.
- Understand pain points around legacy SIS systems (support, scalability, data integrity) and position Apollo as a superior alternative.
- Prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams on campaigns, webinars, and district events.
- Track all activity and maintain pipeline accuracy in HubSpot.
- Stay current on K–12 trends, regulations (especially in California), local procurement rules, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in edtech SaaS or K–12 software sales, preferably selling to school districts and/or charter networks.
- Proven success meeting and exceeding quota in a territory sales model.
- Deep understanding of California’s educational system (COEs, school districts, charters) is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Competitive Salary + Commissions
- Early equity – grow with the company’s success
- Full suite of benefits
- Unlimited PTO
- Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, mission-driven EdTech company
Benefits
- Impact from Day One: As one of our early team members, your experience, tenacity and professionalism will be crucial to representing our fast-growing company.
- Ownership: Enjoy equity and help shape our go-to-market strategy.
- Mission: Contribute to technology that genuinely helps educators and students thrive.
- Respect: Share your thoughts and be valued by your colleagues.
- Remote-first culture: Preferred location in California, while collaborating with our team across the U.S.
