Job Description
Role Description
As an Alliances Partner Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead for strategic partnerships, blending solution engineering, technical evangelism, and hands-on development to accelerate partner success and drive platform adoption. This role goes beyond enablement — senior partner engineers shape the technical vision with partners, influence solution design at scale, and act as trusted advisors on how to maximize joint value creation. They lead technical scoping, deliver high-impact demos and proof-of-concepts, and collaborate closely with alliances, product, and engineering to ensure our platform is represented with both depth and clarity.
- Own the technical relationship with top-tier partners, from initial scoping to solution validation.
- Lead technical workshops, executive-level presentations, and solution design sessions.
- Build and guide the creation of proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and demos to accelerate partner adoption of the platform.
- Act as a thought leader and evangelist for the platform in partner-facing settings.
- Develop best practices for technical engagements.
- Translate partner feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales (partner-facing preferred).
- Track record of leading technical strategy with ISVs, enterprise partners, or system integrators.
- Strong communication and executive presence, with ability to influence.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyze and execute work efficiently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
Benefits
- Excellent health care (including a wide range of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits).
- Disability and life insurance options.
- 401(k) and RRSP matching.
- Paid parental leave.
- 20 days of paid time off per year, 12 days of paid holidays per year, two floating holidays per year, and flexible sick time.
- Generous stipends (including those for caregiving, pet care, wellness, your home office, and more).
- Annual professional development budget and opportunities.
- Market-based approach to compensation, with base pay varying depending on location.
- Expected salary ranges for this position based on compensation zones.
- Commission portion for this role will be 20% of the On-Target Earning (OTE).
