Role Description

The Accounting Strategist is a key client-facing role dedicated to providing exceptional financial management and strategic guidance. You’ll oversee daily accounting operations, perform detailed financial analysis, deliver meaningful insights, and support clients as they understand their financial health, improve profitability, and confidently plan for growth.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving clients with warmth, understanding, and expertise—always judgment-free and supportive, regardless of where the client’s financial journey begins.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting and advisory services tailored to small and midsize businesses.
• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple client accounts.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and sales tax filings.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate impactful client interactions, including leading Zoom meetings to discuss financial insights, track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop strategic budgets and forecasts aligned with each client's unique goals.
• Contribute proactively to process improvements, both internally and for our clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or an accounting role serving multiple clients.
• Demonstrated success managing diverse client portfolios in a dynamic, service-based environment.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• A natural ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
