Role Description

The Product Marketing Manager – Virtual Network Edge (VNE) is responsible for the wholesale adaptation, positioning, and go-to-market strategy of the Virtual Network Edge platform, developed by Orange. The role’s core mission is to transform an enterprise-oriented VNE platform into a scalable, wholesale-ready NaaS competitive proposition tailored to the needs of international operators, ISPs, cloud providers, and ecosystem partners.

What will the activity involve?

  • Product Positioning & Value Proposition
    • Define the wholesale positioning and value proposition of Orange’s VNE / NaaS offering.
    • Position the platform internally and against competitors.
    • Clearly articulate differentiation across coverage, performance, openness, APIs, SLA, and carrier-grade capabilities.
  • Wholesale Offer Adaptation
    • Adapt Evolution VNE capabilities to wholesale market requirements, including multi-tenancy and partner enablement, interoperability with third-party VNFs vendors, API-driven provisioning and automation, scalability, resilience, and SLA-driven service models.
    • Structure use cases around VNE, virtual SD-WAN hubs, security, routing, cloud interconnect, and NaaS.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy
    • Lead the global go-to-market strategy, including launches, messaging, and commercial storytelling.
    • Define target segments (mobile operators, B2B operators, ISPs, digital service providers).
    • Develop sales enablement assets: pitch decks, value narratives, use-case descriptions, competitive battlecards.
  • Cross-Entity Coordination
    • Act as the key interface between NaaS platform product teams (technology, roadmap) and Orange Wholesale.
    • Translate wholesale market needs into product evolution requirements.
    • Align internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, pre-sales, technical, and strategy teams.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
    • Monitor trends in VNE, NaaS, SD-WAN, SASE, edge networking, and cloud interconnect.
    • Maintain continuous competitive analysis and pricing/positioning insights.
    • Contribute to Orange Wholesale’s long-term VNE / NaaS strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, or portfolio strategy within telecom, networking, or cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of telecom markets and global carrier ecosystems.
  • Solid knowledge of network virtualization (NFV/SDN), edge networking.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical platforms into clear commercial value propositions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in international, matrix organizations.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
