Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate EMDR Therapist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is a licensed mental health professional trained in EMDR who is passionate about helping clients process trauma, reduce distress, and build emotional resilience. In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide EMDR therapy
- Support clients through stabilization, reprocessing, and integration
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as needed
A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and ongoing professional growth is essential for this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland
- Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
- Passion for delivering exceptional mental health care
- Dedication to continuous professional development
- Desired Experience: 1-3 years
- Must be local
