Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
Clark Hill PLC is seeking an experienced Word Processor for its Evening or Mid-Day Shift in either of the following offices: Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver or Dallas. This position provides Attorneys and Firm Staff with document assistance in Firm document programs.  The ideal candidate must be skilled in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional, including the use of styles and the creation and formatting of complex documents, and the ability to utilize advanced program features. This is a 40-hour-per-week, non-exempt position.

  • Create Table of Contents & Table of Authorities
  • Scan/clean/format text documents
  • Merge documents/labels
  • Simple formulas/sorting
  • Create Charts
  • Proofread
  • Slide Creativity
  • Scan images
  • Audio tape/digital transcription
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Log incoming jobs
  • Practice complicated/rarely used program features
  • Review training courses online/attend training classes offered
  • Special Projects assigned by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Typing speed of 70 wpm with excellent accuracy
  • Audio transcription expertise
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Expert knowledge and ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kofax
  • Ability to produce and format complex documents
  • Work under pressure within a timeframe
  • Service-oriented team player
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to set priorities
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience
WORK HOURS:
[Evening Shift] Monday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00PM (PST); 2:00 PM-10:00 PM (MST); 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (CST); or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST) respectively, depending on the office location. Evening shift is eligible for remote work (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas).
[Mid-Day Shift] Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM PST (Phoenix & Las Vegas only).
 
The salary range at the time of posting is approximately $29.00-$36.00 hourly or approximately $60K-$75K annually, depending on experience and based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.  In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
