Role Description

Are you a strategic, technical, and empathetic leader who excels at guiding high-performing Product Management teams through the complexities of real-time data streaming? Do you thrive on transforming technical complexity into an inspirational vision and architecting a unified "1Roadmap" that aligns product investments with critical corporate objectives? If you are a long-term thinker who values "playing the infinite game" and has the courage to experiment boldly while scaling a team of technical experts, this role is for you!

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of deep innovation and market-driven strategy as we expand into the next generation of Physical AI and autonomous systems. As our Senior Manager of Product Management, you won't just be managing a team - you will be the driving force providing the coaching and clarity needed to build enduring value and shape the future of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of PMs, focusing on raising the bar for the PM craft and ensuring their individual roadmaps are aligned with the broader vision.
  • Lead our 6-month planning cycles to create a single, traceable roadmap, balancing the needs of existing customers with strategic expansion into new markets.
  • Act as a player-coach for new product concepts using "vibe-coding" and rapid prototyping to validate ideas with stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to manage and iterate on pricing, licensing, and packaging strategies that maximize customer value and RTI’s business growth.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Management Team, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competition, and emerging technologies to refine RTI’s product direction.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years specifically managing other PMs at a Director or Group PM level.
  • Strong "under the hood" technical depth in middleware, distributed systems, or developer tools within high-consequence domains (e.g., Automotive, Robotics, Defense).
  • Demonstrated success managing mature product lines while simultaneously leading "0 to 1" innovation or major category shifts.
  • A "bridge-builder" with a proven ability to resolve cross-functional friction and lead through others to gather buy-in.
  • Ability to transform dense technical details into compelling narratives that inspire and align both engineering leads and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner effectively with R&D leads on "problem vs. solution" definitions and architecture without needing to write production code.
  • A passion for mentoring junior or new-to-company PMs and raising the bar for the entire PM craft.
  • Deep understanding of how to define and validate Ideal Customer Profiles for complex B2B products.
  • Ability to take on full ownership of product success, maintaining a disciplined focus on long-term platform goals.

Preferred Skills

  • Specific experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Automotive markets.
  • Familiarity with DDS or similar middleware.
  • Background in on-prem infrastructure technologies as well as cloud-native models.
  • Experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG) or hybrid enterprise/PLG environments.

Benefits

  • Flexible working schedule.
  • Hybrid working + Home Office Stipend to cover the costs of working from home.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off + “Real Vacation Bonus,” an additional bonus for taking more than 1-week of uninterrupted vacation.
  • Annual bonus based on individual and company performance + other prizes and awards.
  • Recognition for employee achievements and opportunities for career growth and development.
