Role Description
This position’s responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, analysis, and decision support for the organization. This role partners closely with commercial and functional leadership, and senior management to deliver clear, timely, and actionable financial insights that support operational execution and strategic decision-making.
Working cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Treasury, Legal, and IT, this position translates complex financial, cost, and SAP data into meaningful business insights. The role plays a critical leadership function in driving financial performance, margin improvement, cash flow optimization, and informed investment and divestment decisions at a global level.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the continuous development of global budgets and forecasts, including long-range plans, annual budgets, and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Regional Finance teams to align financial plans with volume, pricing, cost, and operational assumptions.
- Develop and maintain integrated financial models to support forecasting accuracy, scenario analysis, and business planning.
- Continuously evaluate, recommend, and implement enhancements to FP&A processes, models, and tools, including the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies, to improve insight quality, efficiency, and decision support.

Reporting, Analysis & Decision Support
- Prepare and analyze consolidated global revenue, margin, and profitability results by product, customer, and region.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret a broad set of financial and operational KPIs, including working capital, cash conversion cycle, inventory turns, pricing and mix, margin drivers, cost efficiency metrics, and competitive dynamics, to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver executive level reports, analyses, and presentations for senior management, the CFO, and the Board of Directors.

Cost Accounting & Profitability
- Partner closely with Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain to analyze global cost structures, including standard costing, absorption costing, manufacturing variances, freight, inventory valuation, and margin impacts.
- Support margin improvement initiatives by identifying cost drivers, inefficiencies, and pricing opportunities.

Investment, Divestment & Strategic Modeling
- Develop financial models and analyses to support global investment and divestment decisions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and evaluation of financial returns.
- Support business cases, capital allocation decisions, and strategic initiatives through rigorous financial assessment and clear presentation of tradeoffs and outcomes.
- Assist with M&A related and other strategic projects, including valuation support, integration analysis, and post-investment performance tracking as required.

SAP, COPA & Systems
- Leverage SAP data, including COPA, to analyze customer, product, and regional profitability and support global management reporting.
- Work with Accounting and Regional Finance to ensure SAP/COPA profitability reporting is accurate, reconciled, and aligned with business needs.
- Participate actively in the optimization of global financial reporting systems, data structures, and processes in partnership with IT and Finance stakeholders.

Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as a key Global FP&A business partner to senior leadership, providing proactive performance management and decision support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial outcomes with operational and commercial strategies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to FP&A analysts and regional finance partners, as applicable.
- Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or related finance roles, preferably in a global or matrixed organization.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or product-based businesses with complex cost structures preferred.
Requirements
- Strong cost accounting knowledge, including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost flows.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including integrated financial statements, DCF analysis, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, with strong preference for SAP/BPC.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to bridge accounting results to management reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to produce executive-ready analyses and presentations.

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership, including the CFO and senior management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative work ethic, with the ability to independently drive initiatives forward.
