Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Team Manager to lead a Program Quality team responsible for ensuring operational consistency, governance, and quality standards across a digital product and program delivery organization. This leadership role oversees a small team responsible for evaluating and strengthening process discipline, cross-team collaboration, and delivery standards across product and program teams. The manager will guide governance activities, quality frameworks, performance monitoring, and reporting while helping teams improve transparency, consistency, and execution quality. The role combines program oversight, internal audit practices, coaching, facilitation, and reporting to ensure teams meet defined operational commitments and deliver digital products and capabilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Program Quality team, providing oversight of quality assurance and operational governance activities.
  • Evaluate how teams execute against defined processes, artifacts, engagement protocols, and performance standards.
  • Facilitate governance checkpoints and decision-making processes across program teams.
  • Support adoption and implementation of quality frameworks and operational standards.
  • Monitor and report on program metrics, performance indicators, and portfolio health.
  • Provide guidance on process design, artifact standards, performance metrics, and program oversight.
  • Ensure teams maintain consistency, transparency, and accountability in delivering digital products and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen operating models and delivery frameworks.

Essential Functions

  • Direct validation framework adoption across teams to support journey analysis and redesign initiatives.
  • Oversee technical feasibility validation and ensure alignment between strategy and deliverables.
  • Ensure system readiness and reliability validation through consistent processes.
  • Guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing practices across teams.
  • Standardize and oversee Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain consistency in post-release reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Lead root cause analysis programs to address operational issues and drive improvements.
  • Oversee risk and issue management processes and ensure appropriate tracking and resolution.
  • Monitor cross-team dependencies and ecosystem impacts across programs.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, privacy, and regulatory review processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and project/program management experience.
  • Experience translating organizational strategy into operational processes and deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and program governance activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of product development processes, standards, and lifecycle practices.
  • Ability to identify critical issues impacting product or service delivery.
  • Experience conducting research, analysis, and evaluation of program performance metrics.
  • Strong project and program management skills including planning, tracking, and delivery oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to facilitate consensus-building and collaboration across stakeholders and project teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve business processes.
