THE PEAKSWARE COLLECTIVE What do athletes and musicians have in common? A lot, actually. They both chase a “next.” They both practice like it’s not practice. They both fine tune their physical and mental beings. They both get a rush from a new mastery, no matter how incremental. And they both co-exist creatively and collaboratively as members of the Peaksware companies. Each of our platform brands has a distinct mission. But they share a common goal: to provide passionate people with the resources to take their pursuits higher. We invite you to get acquainted with our collective of performance-oriented companies that bring like-minded people together. TRAININGPEAKS TrainingPeaks develops software for coaches and athletes to track, analyze, and plan endurance training. TRAINHEROIC TrainHeroic develops software to solve the strength and conditioning needs of coaches and athletes. MAKEMUSIC MakeMusic develops software to transform how music is composed, taught, learned, and performed. ALFRED MUSIC Alfred Music provides method books, performance sheet music, and reference materials for teachers and students. General Summary

The Manager, Partnerships and Events is a strategic and operational leader, responsible for driving growth through high-impact industry relationships and domestic event strategies. This role serves as the engine behind the music catalog ecosystem, ensuring that both in-house brands (Alfred Music, MakeMusic) and distributed brand partners are strategically marketed and seamlessly integrated into our sales funnel and overall revenue engine. You will lead the development and execution of all convention strategies, managing cross-functional teams to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and partner-driven revenue.

  • Partner Liaison: Serve as the supporting point of contact for external partners, leading monthly and quarterly syncs to align on marketing initiatives, product launches, and event strategies. As the primary point of contact, you will be the cross-functional connector, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with teams such as market, sales and product. Additionally, serve as facilitator for partner content development in MakeMusic Cloud and Alfred Music. This involves managing the approval process for concept, development assets, content submission, correction routing and partner sign-off for publication. This includes notation, validation of copyright and credits, and art assets where necessary.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as the lead to resolve data discrepancies, inventory issues, and IP-related inquiries stemming from Sales or Customer Service.
  • Convention Management: Develop and execute domestic convention strategies, including booth and staff logistics, on-site promotional strategies, and travel logistics.
  • Exhibition Strategy: Coordinate booth orders and supply logistics for distributed brands when they exhibit at industry shows, ensuring the most relevant products are featured.
  • ROI Reporting: Execute convention KPI reporting and manage the overall events budget in conjunction with senior leadership.
  • Co-Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute co-branded marketing efforts with strategic partners, such as webinars, social media spotlights, and targeted email campaigns to drive customer acquisition.
  • Operational Workflows: Streamline partnership activities, including timelines, content delivery, and promotional calendars across publishing and software divisions.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop partner-ready resources (pitch decks, training materials) and collaborate with sales teams to optimize product placement and promotional campaigns.
  • Catalog Integrity: Review and edit incoming partner data (using tools like FileMaker) to ensure accurate representation on websites and external feeds.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of events professionals focused on events execution and logistics, as well as partner marketing resources and employees. Additionally oversee company-wide travel platforms like Concur.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Partner Satisfaction: Retention and health of strategic and distributed brand relationships.
  • Lead Generation & Partner Optimization: Volume of leads generated through partner-led or co-branded event campaigns, always identifying additional opportunities for partnership optimization and expansion..
  • Event ROI: Successful execution of conventions against defined brand awareness and sales goals.

Data Accuracy: Timely and error-free release of partner data to digital platforms and dealer feeds.
