Please note: This is not a job ad. This is a grant program open only to current UCP Oregon customers and Family Support participants.
What is the Bill Porter Memorial Fund?
The Bill Porter Memorial Fund supports UCP Oregon customers in pursuing opportunities that improve their quality of life. The fund is flexible—you decide how the funding would be meaningful to you. There are very few restrictions on what you can request, and creativity is encouraged.
This year, a total of $30,000 will be awarded.
Who can apply?
You must currently be receiving contracted supports from UCP Oregon, or be active in UCP's Family Support Department. You may apply even if you've received funds in a previous year.
Application window
Applications are open from 8am on March 16 through 5pm on April 16, 2026. All applications received during this window are considered equally—no need to rush.
What can I request?
Almost anything that would improve your quality of life. Past recipients have used their awards for things like:
- Home repairs or modifications
- Adaptive equipment
- Gym membership or fitness programs
- Travel to visit friends or family
- Education or driver's ed
- Tech
- Camp, classes, or hobbies

What happens after I apply?
