• Administer, operate, and support virtual machine infrastructure across VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments • Provision, configure, and decommission VMs in alignment with organizational standards and capacity plans • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automated configuration management, patching, and compliance enforcement • Monitor VM health, performance, and resource utilization; identify and resolve infrastructure incidents in a timely manner • Collaborate with platform engineering and security teams to implement hardening standards and ensure infrastructure-as-code best practices • Participate in on-call operational support for VM-related incidents and service requests (e.g., patch management, certificate rotation) • Maintain accurate documentation for VM runbooks, configurations, and operational procedures • Contribute to lifecycle management activities including OS patching, image management, and template standardization • Support capacity planning efforts by tracking utilization trends and making recommendations for rightsizing or scaling • Assist in evaluating new tooling and technologies to improve automation, observability, and operational efficiency
