Summary

 

 

The Healthcare Business Architect serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure business needs are effectively translated into technology solutions that support organizational goals. This role applies business architecture and delivery coordination practices to evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support execution of initiatives across platforms and services. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Advisor helps drive alignment, manage dependencies, track deliverables, and facilitate issue resolution to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that provide measurable business value and support transformation initiatives.

Your role in our mission

  • Provides expertise in how business capabilities interact with technical capabilities to address client business problems and achieve client goals, supporting alignment between business priorities and engineering delivery execution.
  • Applies a structured business architecture approach to capture key business views and collaborate with business, project, and engineering team members to assess current capabilities and identify high-level requirements. Assists in guiding project and program activities to ensure alignment with client and company objectives.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to ensure clarity of requirements, priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Participates in governance activities for evaluating, tracking, and reporting alignment to business architecture strategies across platforms, products, or services, including monitoring delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and action items.
  • Supports delivery execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking milestones and deliverables, facilitating status visibility, and driving issues and decisions to closure.
  • Monitors business analysis processes and methodologies to achieve team goals; identifies process inefficiencies across workflows and resources and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery effectiveness.
  • Enables cross-functional teams to work in parallel by providing guidance, coordination, and operational support aligned with business solution architecture.
  • Serves as a mentor and partner to team members in developing business analysis and solution deliverables, ensuring alignment with delivery objectives and organizational standards.
  • Evaluates existing processes and recommends and implements improvements that increase operational efficiency, transparency, and execution consistency.
  • Assists in solving complex business and delivery challenges through technology-enabled solutions, structured processes, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Use professional concepts to help resolve critical issues, remove delivery blockers, and support informed decision-making.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends, best practices, and standards related to business architecture, delivery management, and technology operations.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Re-Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Business Transformation, or Business Architecture
  • Background in the Healthcare Industry with preference for Medicaid Programs and Related Business Processes
  • Strong understanding of Company Products, Operating Systems, Client Business Processes, and Business Processes or Information Modeling Tools
  • Proven experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking tools
  • Ability to lead cross-functional efforts, improve processes and business outcomes, and work with databases including SQL preferred

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
