Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Project Manager for an exciting remote opportunity.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of project execution in support of a government contract. Oversees project schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure performance meets contractual requirements and organizational objectives. Serves as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, monitors project progress, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and reporting requirements while delivering results on time and within scope.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Serve as the project manager for large, complex task orders and shall assist the Program Manager in working with:
- Government Contracting Officer (KO)
- Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
- the task order-level Task Order Managers
- Government management personnel
- customer agency representatives
- Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s)
- Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner
Desired KSA
- Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
- Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
- Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
- Eight (8) years project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
- Experience with:
- SW/IT services purchasing support as ODCs
- SW license/asset management
- Program/Project management plan development
- Status reporting (MSRs), IPRs, project schedules
- Transition in/out and Post award conferences
Minimum Clearance
- Top Secret
Physical Requirements
- Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
