Responsible for accounts receivable follow-up of assigned providers. Reviews Athena on a daily basis to ensure claim submission was successful and accepted by payer. Responsible for communication with patient and/or physician offices regarding outstanding claims. Reports to: Director of Physician Service FLSA: Non-exempt Education: High school diploma Required License: N/A Certifications: N/A Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Non-Essential Functions 1. Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. 2. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. 3. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.
