The classified subcontract specialist position is a key position to enable business execution by developing and approving DD Form 254 Contract Security Classification Specification and Security Aspect Letters in accordance with 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117 National Industrial Security Program (NISP) for domestic and international subcontractors.    You will possess knowledge of security regulations and classified contracting.  The successful candidate will initially support the Tucson manufacturing facility with future centralization and support for all Raytheon locations. This position will report to the Security Manager for Tucson Classified Subcontracting.

What You Will Do

  • Issue DD Form 254 Contract Security Classification Specifications and Security Aspect Letters
  • Review Inter Organizational Transfers (IOTs) with classified scope to determine DD-254 requirements
  • Focal point for Prime contract closeout
  • Resolve discrepancies in classification with Engineering
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders from Supply Chain, Contracts, Strategic Business Units (SBU) Security, engineering, Industrial Security and suppliers
  • Work directly with suppliers, fielding questions and providing support
  • Provide support for self-inspections and Security Vulnerability Assessments
  • Research requirements using internal information systems
  • Provide training to supply chain buyers and subcontract managers

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience working with classified contracting and subcontracting
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience in navigating information systems and databases to conduct research

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
