Job Description

Role Description

The Fitness Education Specialist is responsible for delivering Burn Boot Camp fitness education curriculum and foundational educational content for franchisees, franchise employees, and Burn Boot Camp HQ team members. The Fitness Education Specialist is responsible for the support and sustainability of fitness education at Burn Boot Camp through:

  • Live and virtual education
  • Online forums
  • Fitness education manuals
  • Training camps

The Fitness Education Specialist will work cross-departmentally with Operations and Learning & Development leadership to ensure consistency throughout the franchise system.

This is a remote position. Ability to travel between 50% - 75%.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in creation, innovation, and maintenance of fitness education
  • Rock/Project execution/completion
  • System Deployments
  • Facilitate Fitness Product training including but not limited to:
    • Real time feedback during each camp
    • Feedback loop post-camp
    • Facilitate mock camp including practice reps during the visit
    • Blue Carpet Experience Checklist (camp section)
    • Presentation(s)
    • Post-deployment debriefs where applicable
  • As needed: train camps (livestream, pop up, summit, member summit, HQ gyms, Burn U, regional training, requested deployment, social media/any national publications); Athlete Games
  • Create, innovate and maintain classroom curriculum for Burn University, including updating presentations and training sessions consistent with the Burn brand
  • Observe, audit and execute feedback loop with Burn University trainers at host location sites
  • Manage and/or Execute classroom learning sessions
  • Execute and/or support SAC
  • Maintain training manual content to represent current training product programming, protocol and policy
  • Management of support tickets relative to fitness products/services where applicable

Qualifications

  • Personal Training Certification
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, methodical, quality conscious and with a reputation for superb follow through
  • Experienced public speaker/educator
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to work within project timelines, establish priorities, and meet milestones and deliverables
  • Practice and always promote teamwork
  • Set a good personal example of attitude and performance
  • Ability to travel 50-75%
