Job Description
- Salesforce Platform – Core CRM platform used to build custom applications, objects, automation, and integrations.
- Salesforce Lightning Platform – Framework for building modern Salesforce user interfaces and applications using Lightning components.
- Copado – DevOps deployment tool used for CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion, release management, automated testing, and version control integration.
- Visual Studio Code with Salesforce Extensions for VS Code – Primary integrated development environment (IDE) used for writing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and metadata development.
- Git and GitHub or GitLab – Version control systems used to manage source code, branching strategies, and collaboration across development teams.
- Delivery of high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business and technical requirements while adhering to Salesforce platform best practices and governor limits.
- Development and maintenance of secure, well-documented, and maintainable code, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and integrations, ensuring long-term sustainability of the Salesforce environment.
- Successful implementation of automated and structured deployments through tools such as Copado, enabling reliable CI/CD pipelines, version control integration, and consistent promotion of changes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Reduction of system defects and operational risk through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to secure development standards, improving overall platform stability and reliability.
- Efficient resolution of technical issues, defects, and production incidents, including root-cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective solutions.
- Delivery of well-integrated Salesforce solutions that successfully connect with enterprise systems through APIs, middleware platforms, and data services.
- Continuous improvement of development processes, DevOps practices, and technical standards, contributing to more efficient release cycles and improved collaboration between development, QA, and administrative teams.
- Increased team capability and technical maturity through mentorship of junior developers, knowledge sharing, and participation in architecture and design discussions.
- Alignment of technical solutions with organizational governance, security standards, and architectural guidelines, ensuring Salesforce implementations remain compliant, secure, and scalable.
- Clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer, allowing administrators, developers, and support teams to maintain and enhance the system effectively.
- Support of Agile delivery practices, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation activities, helping ensure that development work aligns with product priorities and timelines.
- Contribution to long-term platform optimization, identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve performance, and enhance user experience across Salesforce applications.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Visualforce, and Flows.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, particularly Copado.
- Experience in mentoring and leading development teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
