Salesforce Administrator
***As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active VA Public Trust CLEARANCE or the ability to obtain this clearance ***
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for supporting the implementation and operations of a new system using Salesforce products. They will maintain the platform, configure Salesforce systems for integration, and manage user roles, profiles, workflows, and groups. The administrator will also provide end-user training and support, create custom reports and dashboards, perform database maintenance tasks, and evaluate and install new Salesforce releases. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Administrator: $80-90k
Pay commensurate with experience.

Salesforce Administrator Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct routine Salesforce system administration tasks, including user management, security settings, data integrity, and system configurations to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of the Salesforce platform.
• Provide operational support for Salesforce environments, including implementing emergency directives, POA&Ms (Plans of Action and Milestones), patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
• Perform capacity analysis and proactively manage system performance to maintain optimal reliability, availability, and scalability of Salesforce environments.
• Execute access management activities, ensuring user provisioning, role assignments, and permissions align with organizational policies and least-privilege principles.
• Troubleshoot a wide variety of issues within the Salesforce platform, including user access, data integrity, and system performance. Implement corrective actions swiftly to resolve issues identified by users and stakeholders.
• Analyze and interpret system test results and environment performance data to validate design, configuration, and development quality, recommending process improvements to enhance stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, DevOps engineers, and technical leads to implement new features, integrations, and environment enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain environmental health and compliance, ensuring adherence to customer policies, cybersecurity standards, and change management processes.
• Maintain and review Salesforce system logs to track performance, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with security and system policies.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation of environment configurations, operational changes, and troubleshooting procedures to support audits, upgrades, and long-term sustainability.
• Provide timely and effective support to Salesforce users, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and users are equipped with best-practice guidance
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Salesforce Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, information systems, or
a related technical discipline is required.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have at least one (1) year of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally within a Salesforce consulting or federal program environment
• Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative approach to working with teams
• MUST currently work on a VA contract with an active Public Trust or higher clearance to be considered.
• Proven experience in Salesforce administration, including managing users, profiles, permissions, and data security.
• Hands-on experience providing operational support for Salesforce environments — including patching, upgrades, POA&M resolution, and emergency directive implementation.
• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks and cybersecurity directives related to Salesforce environment management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, configuration management, and debugging processes.
• Proficiency in using system logs, monitoring tools, and performance analysis to ensure environment health and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to implement corrective actions under tight deadlines.
