Who We're Looking For
Marketbridge is seeking a senior, strategic, and execution-oriented Director, Global Content Strategy to own and elevate our global editorial strategy.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for defining, building, and operationalizing our content strategy across regions and growth priorities. You will shape our external narrative, guide thought leadership, oversee content production, and ensure performance insights drive continuous optimization.
This role is ideal for a seasoned content leader who has worked in service-based organizations (consulting, agencies, advisory firms, B2B services) and understands how to translate expertise into compelling, business-driving content.
You will report directly to the SVP of Marketing and must be comfortable operating independently, learning quickly, and driving clarity without heavy oversight.
Responsibilities
1. Global Content Strategy & Editorial Leadership
Define and lead the global editorial strategy aligned to:
Core solutions and service lines
Business priorities and growth initiatives
Regional market needs (North America & EU)
Build and manage a comprehensive editorial calendar tied to GTM themes and growth objectives.
Drive solution narratives and ensure messaging consistency across all content.
Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Business leaders to align content with account priorities and pipeline impact.
Support executive thought leadership strategy, including analyst relations, PR narratives, bylines, speaking engagements, and social presence
2. Content Production & Governance
Lead content audits to identify gaps, redundancies, and new opportunities.
Develop content briefs and collaborate with SMEs to extract insights and expertise.
Write and edit high-value strategic content as needed (e.g., POVs, executive briefs, flagship assets).
Manage internal and external writers, freelancers, and vendors.
Establish and manage:
Content submission request process
Editorial review and approval workflow
Governance standards and quality benchmarks
Ensure content production stays on track against timelines, brand standards, and business objectives.
Oversee asset-related promotional content (email, newsletters, social posts, ads).
Leverage AI tools to accelerate content development, improve quality, and enhance differentiation.
3. Content Performance & Optimization
Define content KPIs aligned to business and growth goals.
Measure and report on content performance across channels.
Translate performance data into actionable insights to refine strategy and prioritization.
Incorporate audience segmentation and account-based insights to ensure resonance with target buying groups.
Partner with Growth and Business teams to evaluate content effectiveness and account impact.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, or content marketing.
Experience in service-based organizations (consulting, professional services, agencies, advisory firms) is strongly preferred.
Proven track record building editorial strategies that support revenue and growth objectives.
Experience supporting executive thought leadership and complex B2B narratives.
Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor without a team.
Strategic thinker who connects content to business impact.
Strong writing and editing skills (not a pure copywriter, but capable of producing executive-level content).
Exceptional ability to distill complex service offerings into compelling narratives.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Data-informed mindset with experience measuring and optimizing content performance.
Highly autonomous — able to operate with limited direction and minimal handholding.
Strong executive presence and comfort working directly with senior leaders.
Curious, fast learner who can quickly absorb new solution areas and industries.
