Job Description

Job Title: Treasury Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling sales data, managing bank account platforms, and supporting daily treasury operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in finance and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily or weekly sales data from POS systems and Daily Closing Logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile sales activity, bank deposits, credit card transactions, and over/short discrepancies.
  • Identify, research, and resolve errors, missing payments, or potential fraudulent activity.
  • Maintain and co-manage bank account and bankcard platforms, ensuring data accuracy, security, and platform integrity.
  • Assist in preparing cash reporting, including weekly Cash Analysis and Cash Position reports.
  • Assist with daily treasury operations, including internal and external funds transfers such as ACH and wire transactions.
  • Submit requests to banking or bankcard partners to resolve account-related issues and update user entitlements.
  • Contribute to month-end close activities, including reconciliations and treasury reporting.
  • Provide data entry and administrative support for treasury-related projects and initiatives.
  • Cross-train with other Treasury operational functions to support team coverage and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Treasury policies, procedures, and workflows.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Auditing, Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Banking.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and retail accounting software.
  • Experience with banking platforms and Treasury systems is beneficial.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Work Environment

This position is remote, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work from any location.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
