Job Description

Who we are:

Vetcor is launching a new, high-impact role on our Revenue Management team: Senior Category Manager. This leader will own the strategy and P&L for recurring care categories across 900+ veterinary hospitals nationwide, including preventatives, recurring medications, therapeutic diets, and annual treatments.

This is a hands-on builder role that will set strategy, design and fund programs, and directly measure their impact with full ownership from idea to execution. You will not inherit existing playbooks, but create new organizational capabilities.

If you’re energized by owning outcomes, testing new ideas, and influencing growth at scale, this role offers the opportunity to shape how Vetcor drives recurring care across its entire hospital network.

What You’ll Own

  • Full P&L responsibility for recurring care categories across 900+ hospitals

  • Category strategy and growth initiatives that increase compliance, client retention, and recurring revenue

  • Vendor partnerships and commercial programs, including promotion design and program funding

  • Pricing strategy, including rebate structures, discounts, and competitive price positioning

  • Data-driven experimentation, identifying opportunities through analytics, piloting initiatives, and scaling proven programs

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the category strategy for recurring care, driving revenue growth across clinic and home delivery channels

  • Identify opportunities in clinic and client data to improve patient compliance and annual purchasing behavior

  • Partner with manufacturers and vendors to design promotional programs that maximize sales, margin, and clinic adoption

  • Own pricing strategy and rebate programs, balancing competitive positioning with profitability

  • Launch and scale new commercial initiatives, using pilot programs, A/B testing, and cohort analysis to validate impact

  • Collaborate with clinic operations, medical leadership, marketing, and vendor partners to drive execution across Vetcor hospitals

Who You Are

  • A strategic operator who enjoys turning insights into scalable programs

  • Comfortable owning a P&L and making data-driven decisions

  • Energized by building new capabilities and influencing cross-functional teams

  • Equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute

What's in it for you:

Vetcor is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
