LOCATION - UNITED STATES (Hybrid role)

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a BIM Team Manager to join our team within the North America Places Group. We're seeking an experienced leader with technical expertise to lead at Arcadis and in the industry. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States of America.
As the BIM Team Manager, you will support the Design and Engineering team in the Places Division during the development of high-profile projects from design to construction, as applicable to the client’s needs, as part of our BIM Management Service offerings. You will be involved in standards, automation, and model-driven delivery across all design and engineering disciplines to improve quality, reduce cycle time, and deliver measurable business value.
Role accountabilities:
- Define where applicable project standards and implement BIM standards, BEP templates, naming conventions, QA/QC checks, and CDE folder structures tailored to project types and client requirements
- Lead ACC administration in the BIM environment: folder structures, permissions, workflows, and integration with project management systems
- Establish model coordination processes across projects: scheduled clash detection, issue triage, model health scoring, and remediation
- Build an automation roadmap focused on delivery needs: prioritize Dynamo and API scripts that reduce repetitive modelling, QC and quantification tasks
- Oversee model lifecycle integration for 3D/4D/5D and contractor model submittals on projects, support progress reporting and cost integration
- Recruit, develop, and manage BIM staff; create role-based training and certification to achieve baseline competency across US teams
- Provide input to project estimates for BIM scope and resource schedule; monitor utilization and recovery across projects
- Report monthly on BIM KPIs and deliverable status to the Design Management Practice Lead
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years in BIM environments; 5+ years leading multidisciplinary BIM teams and establishing standards, preferably within the US market or on US projects
- Deep experience with ACC/BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D; working knowledge of Bentley desirable
- Demonstrated capability in automation (Dynamo, Revit API, scripting) and delivering quantifiable process improvements
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and training capability; experience with BEP authoring, QA frameworks, and model lifecycle management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CAD, Information Management or equivalent experience

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.

Job Requirements
