Job Description
Our Team
The Marketing Automation Domain at VistaPrint comprises several focused teams: Content Automation, Campaign Automation, Campaign Delivery, Media Automation and Measurement , and Pricing & Promotion Optimization. We operate with an empowered product team operating model, partnering closely with Engineers and Designers and business stakeholders to increase returns from our marketing investments - advertising spend, time spend, human creativity - from investing into our global marketing technology. Our focus is to drive Generative AI and automation at scale across all areas of marketing data and technology. We navigate a complex, dynamic strategy that balances the integration of top-tier external vendor ecosystems with the development of proprietary, in-house tech solutions that connect with our customers across every touchpoint.
What You Will Do
-
Develop and create buy-in on a multi-year vision for MarTech and Automation, establishing clear success metrics and defining in-and-out of scope priorities to deliver quarterly value increments.
-
Shape a complex "buy vs. build" portfolio of capabilities, taking responsibility for vendor selection, integration, and discontinuation while directing the development of our proprietary in-house solutions.
-
Apply marketing science and measurement methods, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM or similar experience) and conversion lift studies, to precisely assess and increase incremental effects from marketing investments.
-
Lead large-scale automation transformations throughout the marketing value chain. Focus on initiatives in Creative/Content, Campaign, and Pricing automation. Continuously develop the strategy toward highly personalized, "CRM-first" interactions.
-
Work closely within a matrixed organization, coordinating with Media, Go-To-Market (GTM), Category Experience, Regional Marketing, and Central Marketing groups. Align on shared initiatives via OKRs.
-
Operate within the empowered Product Operating Model, owning the product outcomes, not just the delivery against requirements.
-
Act as an inspiring leader and steward of the MarTech space. Lead a team of highly skilled Product Managers with diverse domain expertise.
Your Qualifications
At VistaPrint, we are striving to hire individuals who add new ideas and perspectives to our teams and enhance our culture. No matter your background or work experience, we strongly encourage you to apply—even if you feel that you don’t 100% meet all the requirements. You might be a great candidate for this or other opportunities.
-
10+ years of proven experience in MarTech, product management, or digital customer experience leadership roles in ecommerce or consumer driven businesses, specifically operating under a Product Operating Model, partnering with Engineering and Development.
-
Verified background as a strategic problem solver directing a complex "buy vs. build" portfolio, illustrating success in crafting and delivering transformative customer experiences at scale.
-
Extensive knowledge in assessing impact via data-informed insights, including experience with marketing science and measurement techniques such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM or similar experience) and conversion lift analyses.
-
Deep expertise in personalization, experimentation platforms, or content management systems, including hands-on experience with Generative AI applications in Marketing.
-
Strong leadership experience, specifically growing and mentoring high-performing teams while acting as an outstanding communicator with the ability to influence across all matrixed levels of an organization.
