Job Description: Staff Trauma Therapist
We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven clinician to join our elite group of trauma therapists that provide best-in-class care to survivors. This role reports directly to our Clinical Supervisor.

Role Description:
Clinical Care:
Conduct thorough and accurate patient diagnostic evaluations
Effectively triage patients to admission or provide appropriate referrals based on their clinical needs and the resources available
Treat PTSD and related conditions using evidence-based psychotherapies
Patients are seen multiple times for the duration of their treatment (approximately 4 weeks) in our intensive treatment model; therapists are expected to spend 29 hours per week in direct patient care.
Be comfortable with managing clinical risk, and making care escalations as needed
Lead skills groups as needed for graduates of CPT (i.e. DBT skills group)
Assist in care coordination efforts & logistics with the administrative team (e.g. referring patients out or coordinating directly with other care team providers as needed)
Ensure that accurate and precise documentation records are maintained
Operational Support:
Provide input on recruiting, onboarding and overall experience of the clinical team
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Operations team and Nema leadership to ensure clear communication and clinical processes
Assist the Clinical Director in external communications to drive provider referrals
Qualifications
Required
Active licensure in one of the follow states: NY, NJ, MA, or CA. Therapists can expect to be cross-licensed in up to ten states. While administrators will assist with licensing, therapists remain responsible for their continuing education (CEs).
PhD with at least 2 years post-graduate clinical experience OR independently licensed master-level clinician
Outstanding clinical skills, including “webside” manner, diagnostic ability and CPT delivery
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Organized, reliable, and can operate autonomously on core duties
Experience working with moderate to high risk patients
Preferred
CPT-Trained
Training in DBT
Training in other trauma-focused modalities such as PE or EMDR
Clinical supervisory/management experience
Experience working at an early-stage company
Willingness to work 11 am-7:30 pm in your time zone (exact schedule negotiable)

Nema Health is an early stage clinic looking to build and grow nationally. This is a fully remote, full-time, exempt, salaried position reporting directly to the Clinical Supervisor. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience. The full-time compensation package will include a $90,000+ salary range, generous PTO, a healthcare stipend, an education stipend, 401K with match and paid parental leave.
