Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related discipline with 2+ years of direct sales experience (or 5+ years direct sales experience in lieu of degree), calling on Value Channel headquarter accounts (Dollar General or Family Dollar) and/or Club accounts (Costco)
- Proficient use of Dollar General Portal and/or 10-10 data is highly preferred
- Track record of developing new business by sourcing, engaging, and converting new customers into active accounts
- Experience with category management, fact-based selling techniques (point of sale and syndicated data analysis), and the ability to create, develop, and present this information compellingly from scratch using either Circana or Nielsen data
- Proven negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to finalize business and increase sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Willingness and ability to travel (6-8 times a year).
