Job Description

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, with a strong emphasis on construction. • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, agencies, and referrals. • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the position and company culture. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions. • Manage the entire recruitment process, from posting job openings to extending job offers and preparing the offer documents. • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, Prairie Band Employment Code, and various regulations related to recruitment and hiring. • Serve as the enterprise’s subject matter expert for emerging technologies to continue enhancing recruitment strategies and processes. • Schedule and lead monthly collaboration meetings with all staffing and recruiting personnel. • Develop and maintain recruiting metrics and budget.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Construction, or related field.
  • Must have 5-7+ years of experience in recruiting.
  • Minimum 3+ years recruiting for federal construction contracting positions or similar federal government project positions.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of government contracting regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expert understanding of best-in-class recruitment processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Must have a strong work ethic, be highly flexible, and have a sense of personal accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (Paylocity knowledge a plus).
  • Ability to travel infrequently.
