Job Description
Role Description
Overlay Enhanced and Comprehensive 3(16) Product; Maintain Bundled Recordkeeper/client/advisor relationship; review compliance testing; contribution calculations; and sign / file Form 5500.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret plan documents
- Thorough knowledge of ERISA, IRS & DOL regulations regarding qualified plans
- Review Form 5500 as prepared by Bundled Recordkeeper

Enhanced and Comprehensive:
- Review compliance Testing as prepared by the Bundled Recordkeeper (ADP/ACP; 415; 402(g) 416, 410(b))
- Review census data including any data integrity reports if applicable
- Review employer contribution calculations as prepared by Bundled Recordkeeper
- Review participant QDROs prior to sending to Legal
- Review participant home loan requests
- Review manual hardship distribution requests
- Work with plan’s Form 5500 auditor
- Works with assigned Administrator to ensure deadlines are met timely
- Works with client to ensure plans corrections are properly executed.

Comprehensive 3(16) Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight and management of the following tasks as performed by Bundled Recordkeeper
- Review Plan Document
- Review SPD and SMM for compliance with ERISA
- Authorize ADP’s preparation of Notices (ACA; QDIA; blackout Notices)
- Authorize and review the Bundled Recordkeeper’s preparation of SAR
- Confirm the Bundled Recordkeeper has prepared and distributed participant fee disclosure notice
- Confirm forfeitures / Suspense Accounts were used in accordance with plan document
- Confirm the Bundled Recordkeeper processed all involuntary distributions
- Conduct Annual Plan Review (APR)
- Works with Bundled Recordkeeper to pull contribution report to track the timeliness of contributions
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of Defined Contribution retirement compliance and service experience
- Excellent Client Relationship skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to work in fast paced team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
- Working knowledge of FT Williams Government forms a plus
- ASPPA designations a plus or be willing to obtain designations
- Ability to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned client’s compliance testing, valuation reporting and tax filings
- 3(16) Fiduciary Services knowledge a plus
- If remote employee, must have previous experience working from home
