3. Utilize, train, and implement cloud-based accounting tools such as Bill.com, Expensify, and other platforms commonly used by government contractors.

4. Coordinate different phases of engagements with supervisors or managers, review workpapers for accuracy and completeness, and maintain clear client communication.

5. Provide oversight and coaching to staff accountants; offer guidance, feedback, and support professional development.

6. Assist clients with understanding financial statements, compliance with government contracting requirements, indirect rate calculations, and cost accounting standards.

7. Ensure deliverables are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and firm protocols.

8. Maintain strong client relationships and prioritize responsive, high-quality service delivery.

  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across diverse client accounts.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
