This role operates in a fast-paced, high-velocity setting where thoughtful risk assessment and practical guidance are essential to enabling revenue and closing complex enterprise deals.

The Senior Corporate Counsel will focus primarily on commercial contracting, including SaaS agreements, renewals, and vendor engagements, while also providing support on broader corporate matters as needed. This is a high-impact opportunity for a legal professional who combines strong technical training with sound business judgment and thrives in a scaling organization.

  • Provide clear, commercially aligned legal guidance that supports revenue growth while protecting the company’s interests.
  • Advise on corporate legal rights, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance matters.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Review and improve standard contract templates and playbooks to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Togetherwork’s products, customers, and risk tolerance to inform legal recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure legal documentation reflects business objectives and operational realities.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate transactions and business law within a reputable law firm or corporate legal department; AmLaw 200 experience preferred.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active admission to a state bar.
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including technology and SaaS contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and business law principles.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and preparedness.
  • Experience in the technology industry preferred.

Professional Attributes

  • Strategic thinker with sound business judgment.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented.
  • Comfortable operating independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Adaptable and responsive in an environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong communicator who can translate complex legal concepts into clear business guidance.

Why This Role

  • Impact: Serve as a trusted advisor supporting revenue-generating teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Challenge: Navigate complex commercial negotiations in a scaling SaaS organization.
  • Ownership: Shape contracting processes and legal frameworks that enable growth.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and executive leadership to drive business outcomes.

Benefits
