Job Description

• Lead the creation of digital content that informs, inspires, and activates — bringing our campaigns to life across social media, email and our website. • Develop and produce visual and written content for FIA’s social media platforms. • Create engaging graphics, short videos, GIFs, reels, carousels, memes, infographics, and threads for different platforms with short turnaround. • Write attention-grabbing captions, scripts, headlines, and call-to-actions tailored to each platform and audience. • React swiftly to news events, cultural moments, and trending topics with timely content. • Support national alliances and colleagues to produce strong digital content. • Create visual and copy content for FIA’s email designed to drive response. • Support content updates on FIA’s website. • Design banners, images, and layout visuals optimised for desktop and mobile. • Write scripts for short-form videos. • Edit and produce video content using accessible tools. • Design visually compelling static and motion graphics to support campaigns, digital actions, and movement storytelling. • Maintain a content calendar aligned with mobilisation and media opportunities. • Maintain an organised library of assets (images, templates, footage, design files, etc.).

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in digital communications, content production or graphic design — ideally within social movements, NGOs, or activism related projects.
  • Strong and diverse portfolio showcasing design, writing, and video work.
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Experience writing engaging, platform-native copy for social media.
  • Working knowledge of video editing tools and workflows.
  • Familiarity with content publishing across social media platforms, including mobile-first and accessibility best practices (alt text, captioning, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt content quickly to current events, trends, and movement needs.
  • Solid time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and French is strongly preferred.
  • The role requires the ability to produce original content directly in Spanish, French, and English.
