Events Manager
Location: Remote
Position Summary
Reporting to the Events Director, the Events Manager will plan and execute a portfolio of Merkle events—including in‑person, virtual, hybrid, and internal experiences—that support the broader marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized multi‑tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

- 3+ years of event marketing or events management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple events concurrently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-directed work style
- Clear and effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with event technology platforms (e.g., Splash) is a plus
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute event plans, logistics timelines, and documentation
- Coordinate vendor contracting processes and ensure events align with business priorities, executive vision, and core messaging
- Track and measure event performance, partnering with the Events Director, Marketing Operations, and Sales to evaluate KPIs (e.g., lead generation, pipeline, ROI)
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, content, alliances, demand generation, sales, and client teams to deliver integrated pre-, during-, and post‑event programs
- Contribute to event strategy, including event selection, attendee enablement, communications planning, and attendance recommendations
- Manage the event calendar in partnership with the Events Director
- Lead planning meetings, production calls, and related discussions to ensure seamless execution
- Strengthen partnerships through event collaboration, working closely with Partner Marketing, alliance leads, and partner organizations

The annual salary range for this position is $82,800 - $90,000 annually. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, and other factors permitted by law.
