Job Description

 

 

Purpose

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the primary focus of the role will be the handling of General Aviation claims from loss to conclusion. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual experienced within the Aviation claims adjusting field to continue to develop their loss adjusting career within a highly experienced team spanning a global network.
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Receiving, reviewing, and handling new losses.

  • Liaising with key stakeholders such as insurers, brokers, insured and retained experts.

  • Undertaking site visits to investigate and assess the cause/circumstances of the claim and the extent of damage.

  • Producing written reports identifying scope of damage.

  • Negotiating and agreeing with key stakeholders to bring claims to a timely and equitable resolution.

  • Other duties as required and as instructed by Branch Manager.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Background as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Accident Investigator, and/or Pilot.

  • Knowledge of the independent claims adjusting business through significant experience in claims adjusting or aviation-related fields.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to prepare accurate written reports for technical and non-technical clients.

  • Thrive in a busy team environment with accountability for your own caseload.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and conflicting demands while delivering quality and excellence.

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

 

Licensing and Qualifications:

  • Must have or attain an appropriate state adjuster license upon joining.

  • Degree level education or equivalent and/or A&P licenses (desirable).
