As a Operations Consultant within PNC's AMG organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Wilmington, DE, or Birmingham, AL.

Job Description Summary:

This position will oversee multiple functions and coordinate with various areas within AMG. The position requires an individual with extensive experience in both securities processing operations and technology, including process improvement, risk identification, and architecture/technology solutions. Business and technical expertise with the existing Amtrust application is highly preferred, as the role will require collaboration and communication with multiple teams at varied levels related to Amtrust and related applications.

This position will interact regularly with other AMG Operations departments and other teams within PNC, including MIS (CTB/RTB), AMG Architecture, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Change Management, Project Management, Compliance, Legal, Investments, Private Bank, and Institutional Asset Management, among others.

Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement:

• Process mapping and requirements documentation in support of strategic LOB and technology initiatives
• Support continuous improvement efforts to resolve pain points and address opportunities to streamline existing workflows and gain efficiency, reduce cost or eliminate risk
• Participate in projects and initiatives to determine impacts to teams and create mitigation strategies for those impacted processes
• Assist with implementing action plans for matters or issues requiring technical solutions

Change Management:

• Acquire understanding of systems, operations and technology capabilities to recommend and implement solutions
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing technology initiatives
• Coordinate with senior leaders to prioritize and implement various initiatives
• Incorporate reporting tools, intelligent automation, robotics process automation and other tools into AMTrust specific functions.

Project Management:

• Ensure compliance with PNC policy, relevant regulations and industry standards
• Prepare and present status reports to management and stakeholders
• Communicate technical information and recommendations to relevant parties

 

This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.

Job Description

  • Leads critical operational support and/or implementation of complex services, processes, capabilities or initiatives within an operational unit, and oversees performance and risk indicators.
  • Establishes process performance measurements and oversees business impact. May implement critical business support services. Communicates performance statistics to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promotes the production workflow and oversees escalated process issues. Independently identifies and manages the resolution of exceptions and serves as a point of escalation. May coach operations process managers and team members .
  • Determines and/or drives change and improvement efforts in production and/or processes. May develop and oversee policy change and/or improvement. Ensures understanding, acceptance and support for business support services, methods, capabilities or initiatives through collaboration with executives, business partners and team members.
  • Ensures the business adheres to policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Independently resolves compliance issues and drives risk mitigation activities.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $149,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
