Job Description
- Communicating and providing support to members over chat, email, and phone using exceptional customer service.
- Relaying member needs to providers.
- Corresponding with pharmacies and completing prior authorizations to resolve prescription issues.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality when handling member information in compliance with Workit Health, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of our EHR, product, and communication platforms.
- Maintaining a dedicated, private workspace that supports HIPAA compliance and provides a quiet, distraction-free environment.
- Being fully available and focused during scheduled work hours, with the flexibility to join video meetings (camera on) as needed, without competing commitments.
- Consistently demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions—with members, colleagues, and leadership—across all forms of communication and through professional personal presentation.
- Adhering to schedule start and end times
- Facilitate video drug screens and determine drug screen results while maintaining a professional and judgment-free demeanor
- Support and communicate with members as they navigate their drug screening needs and requirements
- Educate our members on how to navigate Workit Health’s drug screening options, and be ready to help troubleshoot through any barriers
- Perform care management outreach to improve member engagement in required care plan activities and reduce barriers to care.
- National Medical Assistant Certification
- Passionate about providing stellar internal and external customer service and working with diverse populations including Workit staff, members, family members, and vendors
- Strong analytical ability
- One or more years of healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Comfortable asking for support, help, and guidance as needed
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or behavioral health care is a plus
- 5 weeks PTO (includes your birthday, 2 mental health days, and 2 floating holidays!)
