Job Description:

Join Job Duck as a Bilingual Legal Assistant and become a vital part of a team dedicated to supporting clients through sensitive and high-stakes legal matters. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them with empathy and professionalism while ensuring accurate communication with the legal team. You will balance client-facing responsibilities with legal drafting, research, and administrative support, contributing directly to case preparation and overall firm efficiency. Monthly compensation:1150 USD- 1220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases

  • Draft legal documents including motions and case-related documentation

  • Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, updates, and clarifications

  • Handle inbound calls from clients, often involving sensitive or emotional situations

  • Support attorneys by taking ownership of delegated tasks within cases

  • Perform general administrative tasks tied to case management

  • Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with clients and attorneys

  • Gather and organize client-provided information for case preparation

  • Act as a key point of contact between clients and the legal team

  • Guide clients through sensitive processes and extract necessary information

  • Manage the full cycle of case support: client interaction, information gathering, drafting, and follow-up

  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments

Requirements:

• Office Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM EST

•2-3 years of experience in a legal assistant position

•Great communication skills

High emotional intelligence and empathy

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Detail-oriented and organized

Ability to handle sensitive, high-stakes situations with composure

Legal aptitude and ability to understand legal concepts

Adaptability and versatility across blended tasks

Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

Commitment to stability and long-term growth

Work Shift:

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America)
