About the Internship Program:
Our internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience and professional development opportunities for students or recent graduates. Interns will work on meaningful projects, gain exposure to our organization, and develop skills that align with their career goals.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Tech Operations Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting technical support initiatives in a fast paced, regulated environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Logging and tracking IT tickets using a help desk or ticketing system.
- Providing first-line technical support for end-user issues.
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes such as equipment setup and account requests. Help set up and manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions
- Troubleshoot and escalate IT-related problems as needed and\or gather incident reports into Power BI to identify the root of problems
- Maintain and update documentation on IT processes and procedures
- Follow cybersecurity guidelines to ensure compliance
- Support automation efforts using scripting languages (Java or Python) to streamline operational tasks
- Assist with building and improving CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency
- Contribute to secure development pipelines by implementing automated gates, including code scanning and security checks
- Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
What You'll Need:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a university or college co-op program, with a focus in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for candidate interactions and internal team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency
- A strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or coursework in automation and scripting (Java or Python)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices
- Familiar/Proficient in Microsoft O365, Power BI, and Jira
- Familiar with cybersecurity standards and frameworks
Additional Details:

Final compensation is evaluated on various factors which include but aren’t limited to experience, skills, internal equity among peers, and geographic location.
- Compensation: $15-20/hr
