The City of Salem Enterprise Services Department is seeking a talented, dynamic Enterprise Application Administrator. Our application development team focuses on solving challenging problems and building creative solutions that directly impact the community.

As an Enterprise Application Administrator, you will:
- Take the lead in configuring templates, workflows, and other system features of both internal and community-facing applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the user experience.
- Customize applications to align with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with policies, and staying current with software updates and best practices.
- Play a critical role in data analysis and reporting, designing, writing, and running reports to provide actionable insights.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements from stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
- Managing and coordinating change management processes, including documenting change requests and supporting deployment.
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence reporting solutions using tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, and ActiveReports.
- Providing customer support and technical troubleshooting for enterprise applications.
- Administering and supporting work management systems, configuring workflows, and maintaining system data integrity.
- Designing and implementing automated workflows using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts to support reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT staff for upgrades and system improvements.
- Documenting system configurations, procedures, and support knowledge base articles.
- Monitoring system performance and user activity to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Performing additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must pass the pre-employment background check.
- Must have reliable transportation to report to work sites, events, trainings, and meetings.
- Associate's degree in a field related to area of assignment such as computer science, programming, database, systems analysis, and networking.
- Six months of paid, unpaid, or volunteer experience in the related area of assignment, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities as listed.
