Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about technology—someone who truly geeks out over new languages, frameworks, architectural patterns, and the future of software development. You are "about that life," constantly exploring the cutting edge of AI-native engineering and cloud-native design.

In this role, you will be a core problem solver, tackling everything from architecting complex, greenfield solutions from the ground up to rolling up your sleeves for hands-on product support. We need a highly empathetic team player who deeply cares about the client experience, builds strong relationships with stakeholders, and enjoys collaborating with teammates.

• Competitive compensation ranging from $130,00 to $170,000 per year PLUS quarterly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Drive the development of robust, scalable applications using a serverless-first mindset on AWS.
• Pioneer Agentic AI: Design, build, and integrate solutions that utilize agentic AI, applying modern AI design patterns to automate and enhance complex workflows.
• Supercharge Development: Champion modern, AI-assisted software engineering processes. You take development beyond vibe coding and leverage tools like Claude Code to multiply your team’s effectiveness.
• Own the Infrastructure: Define and provision cloud architecture using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK, Pulumi, and SST.
• Solve End-to-End Problems: Take ownership of the entire lifecycle, seamlessly transitioning from high-level system design to deep-dive product support and debugging.
• Champion Empathy: Advocate for the client and the end-user in every technical decision, ensuring our products are as user-friendly as they are technically sound.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Deep Tech Stack Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and Bun.
• Technological Agility & Curiosity: An open mind and an eagerness to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies outside our core stack—such as Rust, Zig, SvelteKit, or Astro—when they are the best tools for the job.
• AWS & Serverless Mastery: A strong grasp of AWS infrastructure, particularly AWS Lambda, with a deep-rooted serverless-first philosophy.
• Database Fluency: Solid experience designing and optimizing NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• AI Engineering Chops: Demonstrated experience building with agentic AI and a thorough understanding of agentic design patterns and orchestration.
• Next-Gen Workflow Experience: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, and OpenCode, and modern AI-native workflows.
• CI/CD Proficiency: Experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• The Right Vibe: An empathetic, collaborative personality combined with a relentless, passionate curiosity for technology. You communicate highly technical concepts with ease and care.
