Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Finance & Performance Operations will play a critical role in day-to-day performance reporting, financial planning & analysis, and operational decision support. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Performance Operations, this role is ideal for an analyst with strong technical fundamentals who enjoys working close to the numbers and helping teams understand how the business is performing.

This role will spend most of the time on daily KPI reporting, month-end close support, budgeting, forecasting, and operating expense management, while also contributing analytical insights to support leaders across marketing, sales, operations, and product.
This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure to senior leadership and a strong opportunity to grow into a more strategic analytics role over time.

Responsibilities:
Performance Reporting & KPI Management
  • Own and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting across business KPIs
  • Monitor business performance to identify trends, variances, and anomalies -- proactively surfacing risks and opportunities
  • Investigate data anomalies and reporting discrepancies, partnering with Data, Product, and business teams to identify root causes and ensure timely correction and data integrity
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of standardized dashboards and recurring reports
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial and operational reporting used by leadership
  • Provide clear, concise summaries of performance results to support decision-making

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Support monthly close processes, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for sales and operating expenses
  • Partner with department leaders on opex planning, tracking, and cost management
  • Prepare financial models, analyses, and reporting to support leadership reviews
  • Learn, manage, and become the subject matter expert and primary owner of Datarails, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

Business & Operational Support

  • Provide analytical and financial support to cross-functional partners in marketing, sales, operations, and product
  • Help answer ad hoc business questions using structured financial and data analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for leadership, board reviews, and investor reporting
  • Partner with Data team to improve reporting efficiency, scalability, and usability
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled tools and workflows into processes and work products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, analytics, or a related role
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups); SQL experience is a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and recurring performance reporting
  • Systems-oriented and comfortable learning new software tools, with the ability to quickly understand workflows and leverage technology to improve finance and reporting processes
  • Collaborative and relational, able to work effectively across functions and build strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to clearly explain financial and operational results
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Organized, proactive, and accountable problem solver
