Role Description
Zantech is looking for a talented Sr Systems Administrator to contribute to the success of our DoD Client. The Sr Systems Administrator ensures stable operation of computer software systems and network connections supporting the DLA Disposition Integration Web (DIW) Program Office. Responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software, communication links, and application environments. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking including load balancing, fault tolerance, and vulnerability management supporting applications including ETID, RTD Web/Mobile, Compliance Suite, GenComm, ESP, and future mobile applications.
Impact:
- This role directly impacts system availability, performance, and security for DLA's mission to manage disposal of excess property from military services and support disaster relief operations nationwide.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
- System/network software installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization
- Capacity/performance analysis; provide system configuration change/upgrade recommendations
- Application networking: load balancing, fault tolerance implementation
- Vulnerability management and security patching (STIGs, SRRs, CERT/CTO/IA compliance)
- Automation via scripts and tools; develop system administrator procedures
- Environment management (Development, Test, Stage, Production)
- Database administration support: DBMS software/patches, backup/recovery, COOP participation
- End user support, training, and troubleshooting
- Remote maintenance support to operational systems at multiple locations
- SSRS configuration support; data management and reporting
Qualifications
- 10 years of specialized Information Technology experience, with the majority specialized in numerous Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions
- At least 10 years of concentrated, hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software
Requirements

- DISA, J64 TFS, Azure GovCloud environments

Required Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology related field with 10 years of relevant experience
- DoD 8570/8140 IA certification - Operating system certifications for administered systems
- Operating system certifications relevant to administered systems
Required Security Clearance
- Active Secret Clearance (minimum) and US Citizenship per contract requirements.
