Job Description

• Understand and interpret the regulations and their impact to F&EM’s business, lead activities with timely response to the regulation’s review and consultation; provide updates of regulatory landscape and strategies, inform and integrate with product strategy future choices, and compliance obligations to maximize F&EM’s strategic advantage and business values • Provide support for the federal registrations for new products, managing compliance with EPA, and/or FDA regulations, monitoring emerging regulations, & advise business of potential impacts and strategies • Ensure knowledge of key national and state product regulatory mechanisms and assess impact or indications on F&EM’s business and R&D strategies • Serve as regulatory affairs expert in customer meetings to support new developments and provide updates on key regulatory topics; defend F&EM’s ability to access and use key raw materials through interaction with regulatory organizations and collaboration with industry/trade groups • Monitor PFAS regulatory developments, participate in key industry and association discussions, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders; analyse implications for our products and technology initiatives, and advise on strategies to meet business needs; engage key internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory affairs are understood and integrated into the business strategies • Actively represent Orbia F&EM in key industry and trade association forums, contributing to discussions, shaping positions, and ensuring timely communication of relevant developments and implications back to internal stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Academic Level: Scientific or Engineering Degree with desirable business or legal qualification
  • Highly motivated, with a proven track record of managing regulatory affairs, compliance
  • Ability to identify strategic needs, define business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Very strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in chemical regulation, ideally with direct exposure to the AIM Act, SNAP, TSCA, PFAS, or similarly complex technical or highly regulated industries
  • Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate with team members and clients, including speaking and listening. Proficient business English required.
