Job Requirements
- Two years' experience in coding for inpatient hospital stays.
- Accurate diagnostic and procedure coding according to clinical documentation and official coding guidelines.
- Coordination with clinical documentation and quality teams.
- Ability to generate coding queries for clarification on physician documentation.
- Frequent monitoring of work queues to ensure timely record processing.
- Knowledge of Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Group.
