Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher)
- One year of full-time professional experience in a college or university setting
- Proficiency with technology, office software and communication systems
- Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid Driver’s License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations
- Experience in admissions counseling and recruitment (preferred)
- Experience in reviewing applications for admission and making recommendations for admission (preferred)
- Experience working with diverse populations and working independently (preferred)
- Experience and knowledge with higher education technology platforms, i.e., SLATE (preferred)

The guide will establish trusted relationships with families of children with serious mental illness, providing non-clinical support, companionship, and coaching during a yearlong treatment program. Key duties include utilizing app-based messaging and phone calls for engagement, co-developing care plans, and actively participating in multidisciplinary team care coordination.
The School Counselor supports students' academic planning, personal development, and college/career readiness within a virtual K-12 setting, acting as a liaison between students, families, and staff. Essential functions include guiding course selection, managing academic plans, monitoring progress, providing social-emotional support, and assisting high school students with postsecondary applications and readiness events.
The primary responsibility is to provide Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) relational/systemic supervision to students within the MFT program, which includes teaching practicum courses, mentoring, and evaluating student performance. Key duties also involve approving student supervision hours and collaborating with faculty on curriculum planning.
