As the Director, Sponsored Research Post Award, you will implement new policies and procedures to lead financial award management, ensure audit-ready excellence, and serve as a trusted partner to researchers and university leadership. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President and Controller, this role provides comprehensive service in financial award management, compliance for the academic sponsored research portfolio of approximately $15 million. Key duties include creating, implementing and enforcing policies and practices that ensure sponsored activity is accurately recorded and reconciled, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) requirements are met, and financial reporting and analysis is complete, timely, and audit-ready. This position is the administrative liaison between the administrative core, the Office of Academic Research, and principal investigators (PIs). The incumbent has a broad scope and knowledge of research administration and financial matters. |
