Cleared Storage Deployment Consultant (TS/SCI)

Location: Nationwide (Travel-Based Role)
Travel: Extensive (Full-time travel to customer sites across the U.S.) There will be some occasional remote work, but this person should expect to travel Monday-Friday on most weeks.

Salary Range: $135,000 – $170,000
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cleared Storage Deployment Consultant with an active TS/SCI clearance to support the deployment, configuration, and implementation of enterprise storage solutions in secure, mission-critical environments.

This role is highly hands-on and focused on executing approved storage designs, including new deployments, upgrades, migrations, and operational validation. The ideal candidate has strong enterprise storage experience and is comfortable working across multiple technologies and customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure enterprise storage platforms based on approved implementation plans
  • Perform storage provisioning, host presentation, zoning coordination, and connectivity validation
  • Execute storage migrations, expansions, firmware upgrades, and refresh activities
  • Support implementation cutovers and production deployment windows
  • Validate redundancy, failover readiness, and overall system health post-deployment
  • Troubleshoot issues across storage arrays, SAN fabrics, host connectivity, and multipathing
  • Collaborate with server, virtualization, and network teams during deployments
  • Produce detailed implementation documentation and as-built configurations
  • Support customer turnover and operational handoff processes

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience deploying enterprise storage solutions
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • RAID configurations
  • Storage pools and LUN/volume provisioning
  • Snapshot technologies
  • Replication fundamentals
  • SAN expertise, including:
  • Fibre Channel zoning
  • Host connectivity validation
  • Multipathing
  • Experience performing firmware upgrades and maintenance
  • Experience integrating storage with:
  • VMware vSphere
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Strong troubleshooting skills during live deployment windows
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as:
  • HPE Primera and Alletra
  • Dell Technologies storage solutions
  • NetApp systems
  • Legacy EMC platforms
  • SAN switch experience with:
  • Cisco MDS
  • Brocade
  • Juniper
  • Aruba
  • Ability to independently execute deployments in classified environments
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience supporting multiple deployments simultaneously
